A fragrance that hovers between fruity chypre and floriental - a contraction of floral and oriental. Cassiopea opens with fresh, fruity notes with a sweet undertone. The heart of the fragrance, tea rose and lily of the valley, retains its lightness despite the addition of the carnation, which is known to be heavy. It actually only begins to bloom 'at the end'; it feels more at home in the powdery base; a soft blend of sandalwood, tonka bean with an emphasis on musk.
