Meet rising talent; Tom Kiewra. He knows how to bring the roughness of the city to the living room in an elegant and contemporary way. Whereby you become fascinated by the art of letters and keep looking through the pigment used, which dances in the sun.

From an early age, Tom has been drawn to the street life of the city, Amsterdam. Here he became fascinated by the graffiti and street art around him, with an obsession for typography and lettering. After long nights and international adventures with a backpack full of spray cans, Tom decided to start a career as a graphic designer and started studying at the Grafisch Lysceum in Utrecht.

Besides his work as a Graphic Designer for The Walt Disney Company, he is still regularly to be found in his comfortable studio. He expresses himself with words inspired by the street or his favourite music.

Despite the fact that Tom only started to bring calligraffi and street art to canvas at the end of 2019, his work is already going around the world. For example, his artworks are already hanging at an art collector in California. Where his art hangs next to the sculptures of KAWS (Brian Donnelly). But his work also regularly travels to Scandinavia, where the minimalists are also fans of his work.

Apart from making free work and constantly experimenting with just about anything you can write with, Tom also enjoys working on commission. He takes the interior into account and incorporates the colours into his work. This way, his work always feels warm and familiar in the space.
